Sirika Exports & Imports is based in Chittamur, Tirupati district. We started with the rice we know best, Sona Masoori from the fields around us, and we are building a range of dry foods that travel well.

Why we started

Buying food from another country should be simple: a clear specification, careful packing, complete paperwork and someone who answers.

Chittamur sits in the southern rice belt of Andhra Pradesh, an hour from Krishnapatnam and two hours from the container terminals around Chennai. Sona Masoori is grown all around us. Guntur, one of India's great chilli markets, is a few hours up the coast, and the state's black-soil and delta districts grow chickpeas and black gram.

We set up Sirika to bring that harvest to importers abroad, packed and documented the way a professional buyer expects, and we let our specifications, our packing and our replies speak for us.
